Compassion - The humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it.
Here at PHM understanding the story behind each member in need is important. Dedicating a personal webpage
(Grace Page) to fully detail their situation. Allowing all of us to witness what our support means to the families involved. Confirming our compassion.
Attitude - A complex mental state involving beliefs and feelings and values and dispositions to act in certain ways.
Replacing the lonely "Why Me?" feeling. Bringing each member in need into a community of family and friends.
Allowing for an exchange of love, support, prayer, and understanding. Spiritual relief. Changing the attitude of illness.
Responsibility - A social force that binds you to the courses of action demanded by that force.
Allowing each member in need to take full control and responsibility for explaining their need; recognizing their support; and detailing their progress or outcome. A minimum of a bi-weekly update or journal entry is required to ensure continued support. Placing responsibility with those in need.
Inspiration - A sudden intuition as part of solving a problem.
By the very nature of our community program we evidence a change in the approach to raising money for those with medical needs. A solution that moves us from begging for donations to building a community of support, a family. Where the give and take involved becomes balanced. A Balanced Approach To Giving.
Need - A condition requiring relief.
Everyone has needs. The difference here at PHM is those with healthcare concerns have needs far greater than most of us can imagine. We provide a forum for an exchange of hope, love, support, and comfort. Meeting the spiritual and financial needs of our community.
Grace - The free and unmerited favor or gift of God.
We are blessed in our lives with gifts from God. Life itself is a cherished gift. Often times we fail to see and understand the glory of our gifts. Today, we have a way to confirm our belief that we are truly blessed. We have our own private place on this website to read and enjoy our community. Here we experience proof of the Grace of God.
